the official site www.disaster.go.th seems to be mostly unreachable right now (maybe swamped). here is a list of sites containing unofficial information concerning the victims of this disaster in Thailand:- pantip.com (popular local chat/message board site)

There is a mirror of www.disaster.go.th, although only the page of victim lists and latest tally at http://www.inet.co.th/tsunami/mirrors/disaster.go.th/aftershock.htm
BTW, I strongly recommend http://www.inet.co.th/tsunami/ for those who cannot read Thai.
anyone who knows how to contact the volunteers or survivals in aceh, sumatra please tell me how to. i have friends whom family members are still missing. thanks
